Listening to good music is one of the things i like most, my latest addiction is Ani DiFranco , i think she's very talented and with a genuine energy seldom found, words can't tell what's in her music and attitude, better listen to her or even more, go and see her live, i've been to 16 gigs she did between 1999 and 2005 (15 in Italy,1 in Holland) and she's just amazing.
An interesting site about her is www.ani-setlists.com , while the official site is at www.righteousbabe.com . For the italians, you must visit www.anidifranco.it  and if you want to join the italian mailing list on Ani (NB: in italiano) you're more than welcome and you'd find good people there.

Another artist i've been appreciating for a long long time is Bruce Springsteen , the way he can tell stories about real life and talk about dreams and growin' up. Actually the first time i went to a concert was Bruce's back in 1988 in Turin, Italy and through the years the last one was in june 2003 in Milan : 15 years after with a renewed enthousiasm.

What may Bruce and Ani have in common ? Maybe not too much ,but seems like a coincidence they're born same day (Sept. 23, 1970 Ani and 1949 Bruce) . In an  article in Guitar Player (June99) Ani includes in her favorite albums " Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska [Columbia]. I think Nebraska is one of the best folk records ever made, even though the guy is a rock star. " and in Nov. 2000 Ani appeared on "Badlands : a tribute to Springsteen's Nebraska"  singing "used cars".

The third pillar of my music passion is Ben Harper, i think is rare to find such a good artist with humanity, consciousness , sometimes humility and able to sing things ranging from "God Fearing Man" to "Sexual Healing", not to mention his special tecnique on the Weissenborn guitar.

Other music fills my days and keeps me company, cheers me up, make me think or make me feel good.
